so i started the first real modern vehicle a bit strange its a right beast compared to WWII armour here are a few pics

one of the rear stowage bins was warped so ive got some filling to do as you can see

i bet that was i it was even more impressive in real life.. i would really like to see one up close im going to bovington in sep i hope they have one but i think its to new to be there

Looks good John. Modern Tanks are rather larger than their WWII grandparents. I have a M5 Honey, parked next to a Challenger II which dwarfs it. lol.

A nice build and will look forward to the paint.

It looks good John i did the MK1 from Tamiya for the Modern armour GB, this one looks a lot better kit. I take it the gun barrel can go up and down, it was fixed on the Tamiya. Did the PE come with the kit ? Looking forward to the paint job

I'm a Merkava fan! And 'Geegad' fan too ;) ;) !I will look this one with interest.

It's a perfect tank for the weathering and mud.

cheers lads for all your kind words..and the balls are a ball ache to do they give you a length the chain and then you cut it to length..then fix the chain to the ball and bingo
