You can buy 1/35 barrels, jerry cans etc from model shops, Ebay, John's shop may have some or he maybe able to get you some.

Oil drums can be gotten most places, for things under a tarp, Any thing can be used.

Google a firm called "Black dog resin" if you want some amazing stowage sets....
