Hello peeps, this is the Italeri 1/72 scale Macchi 202 Folgore. This one has been in the background of a couple of other builds , but now its completed. It was a fairly uneventful build ,just needing a bit of care (and a swipe of acrylic filler) on the multi part nose section. The smoke rings were hand painted on to the sprayed base colour and took ages!!The only bits i had to make were the u/c door retraction rods and the aerial wire. heres the pics comments criticisms welcome, cheers tony:vacat:

Very nice Tony. The 'smoke rings' at 1/72 must have been a laugh!

Displaying my ignorance of Itakian aircraft may I ask what colour you used for the cockpit interior?

Cheers

Steve

Good news as I have a pot if British interior grey/green ready mixed.I've been eyeing up an Italian in my stash. I'm thinking of starting it once I've finished the Bf109K which I've taken out of the cupboard but not actually started, apart from doing some work on the decals I need to make!

Cheers

That's really good Tony, even though it's in such a small scale, the detail & quality of painting is outstanding.

I'm currently seeing it from your perspective, having moved to the ' dark side ' bye tackling my He-219

Wow! outstanding work.

Maybe I missed it but how did you do the rings? Freehand with an airbrush or with "worms"
