Canopy is glued into position... for now how I can see it's great fit...

Engines are still in dry fit, but wheel bays and engine support are glued...

Can I send a canopy to you for masking Roman? ;) maybe then I'd be able to finish my He-219!

Amazing work though, the details on the MGs are fantastic.

I have a question about canopies & painting - how long do you wait to remove the masks after painting? Immediately or leave it until the paints dry?

Hey Patric,

98% of my work is with acrilyc colors but I think will be same with enemal colors because I remove mask after I finish last layer of (usually) mat varnish. When everything is finished... that's mean I leave them on till the complete end of work

Thanks Roman, that's very helpful ( he says with tiny bits of Tamiya masking tape stuck everywhere! )

I'm with Roman,I leave them on until all spraying is finished.

Great job on the Ju188 Roman, that's a lot of masking. It reminds me of the "greenhouse" on the nose of a He111 :smiling3:

Looking mighty fine Roman.

can't wait to see that camouflage go down!

As for the correct colours, you will probably have to wait for Steve, to look in.
