Converted this fom the 1/24 tamiya shell porsche 962c , not a great kit as the bodywork is one piece with no engine detail and the clear parts are already fixed to the shell making it a nightmare to mask and keep clean , if anyone plans to do a similar car at some stage get the Porsche 956 it comes with seperate clear parts removable rear cowling with full engine details.
Done this one post race after the le mans 24hr endurance race added gaffer tape effect around the head lights as seen by lots of le mans cars when the thing starts to fall apart during a long race , tbh I had to do this as the pre fixed front clear lenses looked shocking with lots of white edges showing through the lenses,
used zero leyton house aquamarine blue paint and studio 27 decals ,
