Here’s my efforts. It’s the 1/72 Revell Model that is from the same year the TV series was running but it was the last season 1978. I had this Model when I was around 9 or 10 years old and I built it straight out of the box. I used to watch this TV series I think it came on every Wednesday night. The TV Series was based on Maj. Gregory ”Pappy” Boyington US WWII Ace Pilot in the Pacific Islands I’m not getting into what all he has did but in real life he was a colorful character. The TV series was OK at the first but at the last of the series it started to get “corny” I was too young at the time to understand but now when I go back and watch it I can’t believe how “corny” this TV series was but it’s one of my favorites and always will be. 8EF775A2-BCF2-4DB6-952F-3885DD02D30A.jpeg2B04F746-D3C2-4B79-8E8A-AEC9B54F9A36.jpeg70F99295-68BB-4845-A289-FF4ED387272D.jpegBE06590D-6F5F-4A1D-A25F-1207554D1E97.jpeg

Here’s the intro to the TV Series. Thought I would post it separately to make sure it loaded correctly.

A lot of old TV shows have this problem, IMHO. You have fond memories of them, but if you see an episode again you think, “I liked this?” There are exceptions, of course, but how do you find them without ruining good memories? :smiling3:

Short answer Jakko, you don’t……just go with them all and enjoy the memories…..works with music as well, by the way ;)

I don't think that series made it over to this side of the pond.
