After building that Bute Ferry, I swore I would leave card models well alone for some time....But I did learn such a lot when building it.

So here I am allowing myself more head banging, swearing and general frustration by the bucket load with this 1/400 Attack Transport!!

Here is my latest torture chamber thus far.......Floating on the supplied A3 paper sea.

I've left the masts off for now, as I was sure to knock them flying!

Here's all the invasion stuff......

.......and some scale aircraft

All these to build :-  LCT4 x 1 / LCT5 x 1 / LCM3 x 2 / LCP(S) x 10 / LCP(R) x 12 / Stuart II tanks x 4 / Sherman tanks x 13 / Greyhound x 6......300 infantry etc, etc!!

Also all the A.A. guns, masts and rigging to do. Then some weathering. I really must book an appointment to see a Trick Cyclist!

Gawd only knows what our good buddy Peterairfix is going through with his huge card model of the IJN Carrier. O.o

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks boys,

Once I had finished writing '50 Shades of Grey' I still needed some sort of punishment - hence these crazy, yet fascinating card models!

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks Monica, it all looks squeaky clean at the minute, but I'll soon alter all that with me and thee's favourite part of model making - the weathering!

So let me get this right. Not only do you build wonderful diorama's from foam pizza platters, now you are stating to build them from the boxes as well?

Joking aside, it does look good and I am tempted to add that it looks like you have your work "cut out" for the coming days!

I'll get my coat.

Nice work Ron, inspirational stuff.

Thanks Joe, but to inspire others to go through what I allow myself to go through with this branch of model making is the last thing I would want!

.....but there is no denying there is a certain fascination with card modelling - sez he wot has only built one previous to this.
