I got this kit last week at the Chattanooga Modelcon. The scale isn't listed, but is approximately 1/144 and is from the recent Dune movie. I got an Atreides Ornithopter and a Spice Harvester as well, but haven't touched those yet. It's a sweet little inexpensive kit. I tried not to use the window decals and instead paint the windows with a chrome. They aren't perfect, but look better in person than in these photos. Also remember this thing is like 3 inches front to back and maybe 6 inches wide.

Thot it was a large "bug" Ed.......was looking for my flyswatter until you picked it up! ;) Not familiar with the movie but read the book back when I was in High School....sorta creeped me out. Canopy looks good from here will you be placing it on a base or Dio?

Definitely not my genre but I like it very much nevertheless!

Loved the book back in the day, loved the movie (I think they got the design just right this time round)and love the model!
I thought it would be small when I saw the price but that's a missed opportunity I think. It wouldn't be SO huge at 1/72 and even bigger would be even better!

Watched the film - well the bits I did not sleep through, but thought the vehicles were well thought out. And your kit build does them credit, well done.

Nice result for this strange little vehicle/plane/helicopter

Looks great. Very insect like, and the colouration is spot on.
The ornithopter is one of the things that makes Dune stand out from the usual Sci Fi space opera settings so it’s nice to see one. Well, that and the big worms ;)

I too would love a 1/72 version. With cockpit and interior. Or maybe even 1:48. Apparently there are some good 3d model files available. I have a couple great 3d printers so I've been thinking about purchasing those.
