You haven't done anything wrong Andrew, it just does that some times. It even does it to great effect from time to time. I believe that this lightning of the paint can be removed by gentle washing.

Some people say thinners removes it, but I dare not try. Thinners removes paint as well......

I have to agree with the other chaps Trey. You have got chipping down to a fine art. Yet another great looker on the way!

Andrew like Ian said it just happens sometimes and I like the effect myself. Not sure if there is a way to reverse it without damaging the surrounding paint. Ian thanks really appreciate the compliment. I'm calling it finished

Hi Trey Great build 5*. Any chance you might post some photos an a plain background or inflight? The ones against a sky are very good.

A beautiful build Trey.

I love the details, like the red stars round the gun ports, really nice.

Tony.
