Considering all the extra work you put in Ian, that's still a pretty quick build! Hopefully you'll be able to take some pics of it fully assembled as it's a lovely model.
With it being an old Airfix kit there were some fit issues but i didn't use as much filler as i thought i would but with the Airfix BBMF to do i may need to get some from John in the shop soon so there will be another Lancaster coming that i will keep intact
Sorry about the scare on the first photo but its just me, and the last photo is my modeling table. To be honest it took some time to build up the courage to cut the Lancaster up
Im looking forward to seeing your diorama. And i like your storage solution for paints etc.Im going to convert the garage in my back garden into a modelling room and your idea is just what im looking for.
Funny you should mention cookers.Ive just moved house and have a new oven sat in the bedroom still in its packaging. There are several lengths of 2"x1/2" wood embeded in the polystyrene packaging!.So ive got what i need to copy your shelving.By the way,the ovens only being stored in the bedroom till i get round to Putting a new kitchen in!.
