Thanks for the great comments lads i did struggle a little at the start but took Rons advice and sat back a bit and it looks like it turned out well with the comments you have posted hope you all had a good christmas and happy modeling

Really well done on this one, literally laughed out loud when I saw the blood-splat picture. That's a great effect, and the pose is perfect. 5/5 from me ;)

Hi Matt its not that difficult, first i drilled a small hole in the helmet, then heated and streached a piece of sprue so it was very thin. Once cooled cut to small lenths and cemented in the hole to give the fan/starburst effect,then painted them red but made sure that blobs of paint formed along the lenths at different intervals, and there you have it. Infact it took longer to type this than it did to do. Hope it helps

great work ian! the finished build has got top action. just like a wee scene from a film. i never noticed the german being shot in your build pages! the blood splatter effect is quite something. and as everyone says, the photographs are quality. very well done mate
