That looks very nice indeed Ian. Mosquito bomb bays varied slightly to accommodate different loads. Yours looks excellent, a little different to mine although it may just be due to the smaller scale.
I hope the fuselage halves fit around nicely.

Just had a dry fit, and all is well Jim.

Good progress Ian. Fit of the fuselage looks pretty good as do the wing roots.

That looks great Ian!!! You can still see quite a bit of the finery inside too. I've spent the last day and a half trying to get my fuselage to close around the pit. Scraping, sanding, cutting and fiddling.......I'm having better luck french kissing rattlesnakes..............

Looking good.
Don't glue the wings on! The Tamiya kit has great fit at the wing root. And it makes painting so much easier lol.

Don’t the two little oblong pieces that hold the wings on ( on the underside ) need filling and sanding Ian?
The fit is pretty good and thb they are quite well tucked away. Maybe you can trim the stub on the cover right down, leaving just enough to catch the hole, fit and fill befor you mount the wing and push it on after.

Just caught up with the build log. Great progress Ian and I really like your decision to model the PR version.
Looks a great kit looking forward to seeing the PR blue go on.

Looking very nice Ian.
The dapple effect in the pre shade worked out rather well.
