Lovely work so far. Pilot looking good, and second cockpit colour looks spot on to me. It’s interesting how the internals on yours differ from mine as well.
Got this all buttoned up, and canopy masked and fitted. Also got the wings, wheels and an intake put together.
Sorry about the pun, but this one is simply flying along…..

Thanks Colin, it’s not one of Airfix’s better kits, a little bit of work required, but it’s going together nicely. Some filling and sanding required.
Got the wings fitted, not too bad a fit, there’s a large gap where it joins the underside, but some plasticard sorted that out. I’ve also added some mesh to the intake before the lid goes on.
Nice work on the pilot chappy, he came out well.
Now it’s all black.
Got the underside painted.
Nice variation in the eau de nil underside colour there Ian.
I do like a bit of sky.
Ready for the top coat.

Well if the top comes out near as good as the bottom did, it will be fantastic as well.
Instructions look a bit confusing though.
Just noticed the flaps. Looks like you and I are both going to be up on a charge and getting the beers in.
