This looks a nice model Peter & going very well.

Not sure if they give the drivers name but Monty had on his special observers staff a chap called Poston essentially an observer but drove for Monty. He was much to Monty's sadness killed a few days form the end of the war. He normally wore a dark blue or black berry.

The observers went off & made visits to the various parts of the army & reported back to Montgomery every evening the state of play.

Super work Peter, both figures look great and the car is sharp. Well done. For some reason I thought of Dad's Army when I saw the finished product, I can imagine Captain Mainwering in the back seat of that Humber.

Very nice build 5 stars from me, am I right in thinking the car is at Hendon been restored? I'm sure I saw it when I visited in March.
