Finally got this one finished. Started it in January 2022 after getting it as a Christmas present from my daughter. I struggled a bit, not having built a floaty thing for about 45 years or more and if it hadn't been a present I'm sure it wouldn't be done now and may even have ended up in the bin. Main paints were an AK US Navy set that were ok. Vehicles were painted in Vallejo colours.

That looks excellent Nick. There is a lot of detail for 1/144.

Now that would be a fair size in your scale Paul - this 1/144 is around 45cm long!

Most kind of you John. I've sent some pictures to her for now, and we'll be getting a visit at the end of Oct when I dare say they will be under the engineer's scrutiny... her husband is responsible for the new Blackpool Spitfires.
