With MDC bombs and bomb racks and Eduard seatbelts.

This was a real pig of a kit and, to be honest, for the first time with a model I did not get any real pleasure from it. You will note that I did not string an aerial, well not quite true, I tried it 5 times this morning but could not get a tight and strong fix. I am so peed off with this kit I gave up on it - a first time for me. If something could go wrong, it did go wrong, I have never had a 'bloom' on a transparency before, I got it on this model, the transparencies overall are a mess. Of course a lot of the problems towards the end were down to me, a result of losing interest in this model. Dreadful engineering and appalling instructions made sure of that.

If ever I question the price of a kit from Tammy, Hassy or Trumpy again I will just think of this cheap and nasty Revell model and remind myself why they are worth the money.

Anyway - here are some pics.

Sorry - one pic uploaded in error, the underside thumnail with the wash half cleaned up, for some reason I have not been able to delete it.

I don't know what to say Barry.

As a build it is one, I am sure, that many would be pleased with but compared to your other builds on here, I must admit that your loss of interest does show a bit.

I think we have all had a "what the %&¤#" moment in our hobby, but I will say that despite your disappointments, trials and tribulations, you finished it and made a pretty descent job of it.

I look forward to seeing your next project.

Despite all your hassles Barry you have produced a good result. Mine is going to the bottom of the stash pile, well actually it's already there as I've had it for several years.

Well I think it looks really good.Considering the problems you had you've turned it into a really nice model.Be interesting to see if Hk models decide to do a JU88.That would be a nice kit.

Sorry to hear of your issues, on a budget myself, Revell, old Airfix have been bought and used with mostly poor results, okay if I am doing a sunken wreck model as the scree mix and paint washes hide the model-but in many cases, poor detailing, bad fit-had to hot weld a few of mine as the twist was that bad. Apart from the problems you have faced I think the model hasn't turned out too bad and many folk would be happy with result...although not yourself lol.
