Finished, but I get the feeling something is missing.................can't quite put my finger on it just yet.

Overall not a bad kit if you can get a cheap one, Tamiya and I think Italeri sold it first, so it's been around a bit. It needs a bit of filler but not loads. For the average cost, it turns out alright. I've used a couple of bits of PE, but only as a practice for something bigger, but overall it's not too bad straight OOB. Even though I've started converting to Valejo acrylics, I went back to Humbrol 250 for this one, just to try and keep it similar to the Tornado.

Regards

Colin M.........

Looks fantastic to me colin mate, nice to see them both together in flight, all you need now is a pink victor and a buccaneer to make the set! I had no idea the gulf desert was so neatly manicured either!!!LOL beautiful job matey (the model as well as the rockery!) , cheers tony

Now if you had not spilt the beans and said what the scale was I would never have guessed at 1/72. Very nice.

Love the photos of the two together as well.

Five from me for that one.

Maybe we should all start pestering Airfix to bring back the Front liners from the Gulf wars.

Thanks all for taking a look.

The panel lines are courtesy of Revell and promodeller dark wash.

Tony, nooooooooooo - I hadn't even considered the Victor ! The Buccaneer I'll do (especially as the Airfix offering has the same name as the wife) but another Victor - doh !
