Hi guys

I'm back, after spending nearly all of September in the UK moving my son from one uni to another and settling him in to a flat. Came back 2 weeks ago and having spent some time catching up on work and stuff I finally found time to finish this one.

Here are a few photos of the finished bust:

This is based on a photo after the Crimean War but before he was awarded the VC, so he is only wearing the Crimean War medal and the Turkish Crimean War medal.

Looks great Peter. A real gimlet eye on him, and beautifully clean piping and insignia.

thanks for the nice comments. Yes, it is nice to be back at the bench, never really liked painting and decorating so it was not at all a holiday in the UK! Next up is to finish off another bust, then get to grips with some 1/285 scale dioramas ... Which may include a couple of Stugs!
