have always wont,to do some think steampunk,

but do find it very hard ,to find like guilds or how too,on it all,

so if anyone dose have links to ref ,matter on it all would be greatly appreciated,

well I pickup this little one at a swop meet for 5.oo.cannot see what scale, size,

but its 60mm W x 140mm L,

As its a waterline one,I,added in a keel and hull, which I will plank with balsa,

and also added in a new deck

I do have a few idea on what I do won,t to try,but always advice or suggestions,

most welcome,I will have a chat ,with a couple of mates on firday as well, ;)

as I have seen bits and bobs about in the shop so,that's a good place to start,

plus I,need to find an old clock or 2 for cogs:rolleyes:

I,m no shipwright but think it looks ok, ?

so this one I,m hoping I,m able to do,

hope you like my idea, :smiling3:

This is awesome idea, I will be watching the build closely with pocorn and beer :smiling3:

The most steampunk builds, compiled on the same place can be found on Industria mechanika's forum. Good luck!

Good start Monica, but me being an ow'd thicko, I thought I'd better look up just what Steampunk means....

So, just in case I wasn't the only one on this planet of ours who didn't know, here is the concise meaning......

'Steampunk is the subgenre of Sci-Fi that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th Century industrial steam powered machinery.'

None the wiser? Not to worry!

I just read the start of this thread 140mm Long .......... I have some figures at 1/72 that would probably go a treat with this. They are left over from my Vanship build. Their clothing and leather flying type helmets would work well with a Seampunk theme. If you want them you can have them.I have four of them.
