Hi people

This is 1/35 Trumpeter. Yet another group build ... gonna build out of box.

Lots of PE Parts ...

Progress is a bit slow ... hope to pick up speed in coming week...

Some nice detail...especially the canvas.

Looks very nice.

I like the texture on the turret, it's ideal for a nice chipping or weathering effect!

It has been a while since any update, but here is a sneak peek on my slowwwwww progress ...

The green is a bit patchy, with some whites on it ... it will all blend in during the weathering stage... ohh .. i only chipped the yellow colored portion ... will chip the green colored portion later tomorrow

More work in progress pics later in the weekend ... gotta go sleeeeeep now.

Very nice Wong. Hope I have addressed you correctly.

Very interesting as my next few projects are armoured vehicles although in Afganistan also my first. So hope to pinch a few tips here.

Thank you for the comment people ... here are some progress pics

I primed the tank with black ...

some close up pics ... some areas need to be cleaned up later

The tank has side skirting/fenders, that are painted black. Any suggestions on how to weather black colored surface?

Thank you.

Coming along nicely mate, the chipping is jaw dropping and looks very realistic.

Slowly but steady progress ... air brushed the side skirt, and test fitted. Also installed the wheels, with "baking powder" as mud ...

Next step will be a coat of future, and decals followed by wash and filter.

Cheers ...

The mud effect added ...

On my test run in an old model kit, somehow the mud wouldn't stick to a "Future" coating.

Therefore, the mud on this tank is added prior to a coat of Future.

There was a fellow modeller that built the gasoline tank with Red + White stripe ... I am going to do the same and see if it highlight the model even more.

Here comes ...

That is all for now. Time to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
