Also worked out it’s a ceremonial funeral, not a state one, because the carriage is drawn by horses, not by sailors..

Found it! Colonel Cody who died in a plane crash in 1913. The procession from Cody’s house in Ash Vale to Aldershot’s Military Cemetery on 11 August 1913. It is said that 100,000 people lined the route.

Yes. He’s rather well known around these parts. The turnout for his funeral is astonishing when you consider that the population of Aldershot and Farnborough (the towns that make up the local borough and parliamentary constituency) is roughly 100,000 today.

Correct country Jon as it is known as a châteaux as well as a castle but not Carcassonne:thumb2:

I was thinking along the same lines as you Jon, similar style and period by the look of it. Although it does look to have later additions as well.
