Takom 1/16th Chinese Tank Commander

This figure came with the 1/16th kit of the Chinese armyy type 94 vTankette over here

Beautiful sculpt with no clean up at all, only 4 parts ; Body, arms and head with helmet. Its a shame you have to buy the full kit to get the figure



2nd attempt at the face, 1st time looked like a 3yr old with a set of crayons had, had a go. nearly attempt 3, when the head fell into a palette well of flesh !, luckily it was the helmet, so wiped it off.
Sketching complete, so now just needs blending;

A superb figure and a great start too Steve. I've made one of the Hasegawa/Takom injection moulded 1/16 Japanese tank commander kits and it comes nowhere near this.

Big leap forward, Uniform painted, shaded, face completed and just need to paint the leather helmet. Tank is virtually complete

Good Shout !, they need changing to brown, damm just when i had them central as well. and now the head is glued to the body, oh well , i will give it a go.

Changed his eye colour to a green and defined the shape.


Helmet and goggles painted, helmet semi gloss varnish, goggle lenses - gloss varnish;



rest of figure matt varnish;
