Moving along nicely now...Weathering the upper fuselage is now well on.. Light grey coat followed by Emerald coat was applied on top of the JN green. This emerald was then scrub brushed with Qtips to bring on a gloss and remove some paint leaving the grey exposed. View attachment 57909

After first of 3 glazes of OD its darkening down and looking way more interesting... View attachment 57910

The under surface has also received some rough brushing to remove some paint and show some lighter panels... View attachment 57911 and the undercarriage fitted.. Both surfaces also to be washed and dry brushed.

My favourite job next, the canopy, it will be open..

Regards Danny

Nice work Danny, that paint weathering looks pretty good to me.

a bit too obvious yet, but after the 3rd wash it should look natural Joe.

A wee update..... I can see the finishing post now and have enjoyed using the Air brush for the first time..

The zero is ready for decals and some pastel weathering, followed by its last matt coat, canopy on and antenna wire.....

Im gonna display it as taking off instead of with canopy open..that will give the wee spectators an opportunity to wave it off..
