Good morning!

I wake up early today. The paint stage is my favourite :D

Isn’t an amount of work, certainly, but is always the first step....primer the model. :smiling3:

I used German Grey and USA Ghost Light Grey (Vallejo)

Hi all.

Great....I’ve been working a lot on the Tiger!

Sorry to don’t post pics of the step by step paintwork

Anyway here are all the paints that I used....

- First was a Worn effects by AK.

- Then I used TAN color (Mr.Hobby H27) and Green Brown (Vallejo 71030) at the same time lol, was quite difficult to work because they have different dry time!

- Painted some gloss varnish on the turret and added the decals.

- To add more colour and variety on the hull I used different oils:

Raw Sienna / Light Yellow / Yellow Ochre / Titan Red Scarlet.

- The final step was protecting all the paintwork with Matt varnish (New MIG). I must say, that is the best matt varnish that I ever used!!! Simply magnificent
:smiling3:

After all this work, this is the final result. ;)

The base colour is done, now I can start to work on the weathering :D

I did my own painting “changes” and working detail on others..... :smiling3:

On the rear part, I painted using the same colour, but I changed the tone...

My first idea was done a heavy chipping effect on these laterals wings, but finally, I decided to do it with a more subtle effect....

PS: I'm glad with the cavalier decal. I was afraid it not works over the zimmerit....

I saw on the reference pictures, that the soldiers painted the white ribbon on the canon with a brush.....so I copied the effect....

Nice work Polux, very good shading of the paintwork. Unusual to see the balkenkreuz on the turret.

Your Tiger is looking great Polux. Nice work on the paint job, the exhausts in particular look very realistic.
