Well this is my competed Mossie in what was my first ever Group Build. Hopefully there will be many more to come.

I struggled a bit on parts and made many mistakes along the way but I'm happy with the result.

The model was primed with a rattle can then panted 100% with Vallejo paints and washes. New techniques to me on this build were masking including a purchased mask for the cockpit and pigments on the tyres, although I think they look far muddier than I was intending.

I enjoyed the build thoroughly, loved the input from all of you along the way and enjoyed (and will continue doing so) seeing other entries in the GB develop alongside mine.

Great result Mike.
Although I'm not in any G.B.'s as yet, I'm enjoying watching all the builds. Yours has been no exception.

I read you have made mistakes along the way. Keep in mind, 'He who professes to have never made a mistake, has never made anything!

Here's to your next G.B. build.

Well Mike, that has turned out really nice and you should be proud of her. You're a brave man to do the stripes on the bombs. I couldn't manage, so I left the doors closed...

That's the great thing about this hobby. You finish one and want to start another, right away. So, what you have you got in mind for your next one, if you don't mind me asking?

The stripes and installing the bombs in general were a tad stressful.

I'm also in the half track GB but that stalled because of the Mossie build. I think taking on two GBs at the same time probably wasn't a good idea but I'll be back on that tomorrow.

Looks great Mike. Group builds are fun, and can push you to build things you might not normally attempt. Have fun with the Half track….
