Building my Fokker D VIII e 697/18, and I have been working off a plan

supplied by a company in Arizona USA. But it is very hard to read. I

am going to create my own decals and

On the port side of the AC just behind the cockpit are some limits:

Leerwicht _ _ _ _ 360 Kg ( Empty yielded)

Nutzlast _ _ _ _ _ 200 Kg ( Payload)

Voltgewicht _ _ _ 560 Kg ( ?????)

Now obviously this is the total of the above 2 weights, but I am not sure if I have the spelling correct, as I can't read the plans. Can anyone help me confirm that the last line is correctly spelled Voltgewicht and what it might translate to exactly? I have tried the Google Language assist without success.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, sorry its been a while since your post but the answer to your question is "loaded weight" meaning I think total weight. A German club has a very useful list of German to English modelling words for anyone building from the many excellent plans from that country. Last free plan in a magazine I got was a Tomboy , seemed wrong somehow in German! Go to www.flugsport-wertheim.de then modellbauworterbuch. Are you going to post a picture of your plane now ?
