Well, well, well. No one told me the tracks would be fun to make up , but i'm getting there with them . So what have i been up too, added a ammo belt (only because i found it in the spairs box and thought it would add some interest). Added some headphones to the radio, and a few little bits & bobs as i thought thay was too thick.
Have fun, John
And the next time i say "straight out the box build", hit me with something heavy lol.
Work has been slow over the last few weeks, had a fibro flare up so couldn't get any thing done. But i'm back at it and this is where i'm at. The track are on and looking good (in my eyes :rolleyes, made some kit for the crew. Added a few more bits to the turret interior for interest, and hopefully i can get some paint on the interior this weekend (thats if i'm not fishing hehehe).
As promised, i got some work done over the weekend. The interior is now painted, weathered and very dusty. Jast a pity you can't see much when the hull is built, we but know whats in there .
Just a small update, i now have paint on. I've gone for a simple Caunter camo scheme, so no confusing blue paint you'll find all over the interweb. And it so happens it's the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment in Libya 1941
Still a lot of work to do, but i'm getting there. And if i stopped looking in my stash for the next project then this will be finished by the end of the month .
So, here we go for another update on the little Stuart. The paintwork i'm going for means i needed to move the white & red markings on the turret, it was either alot of setting solution or get the masking tape and airbrush out. The masking tape and airbrush wins hands down, and this is where i'm at. Just a few decals and weathering to go and it'll be ready for a base.
Needed to relax and unwind after my fishing trip on Friday so i went mad and finished the wee Stuart. Just going to put it in the Completed section. but i'll give you a teaser.
