Some of you know that I'm an architectural modelmaker. I've been doing a job recently that I don't get much of these days due to 3D printers. I used to do this more often but its usually easier to print them these days. We have a model with complex sculptures and we're makeing 3 copies of the same model for marketing purposes. I made masters from styrene and Magicsculpt with converted Preiser figures for a couple of the statues. I've made rubber moulds and have been casting copies in polyurethene resin. I may not get much call for this skill as 3D printers get more and more versatile, but I'll enjoy it while I can!
