Where from Peter billings boats ?
I just went on eBay and did a search for billings boats portholes or model boat portholesWhere from Peter billings boats ?
They go by size not by scaleMany thanks peter did you find any thing ? as I need them in 1/72 scale when I can afford them

The planks seem to be very forgiving as thy only need a quick soak.Planking good work Peter are you finding it hard to bend the planking on the bow ?. As when I build my ships on a scratch build hull I normally have to steam the wood to get it to bend whithout snapping

I do believe it's the outer planking.I have the New Bedford Whaling Boat wooden model in my basement. Haven't been able to talk myself into starting it. Nice planking job. Is that the outer planking or under planking?
Just a quick soak in cold water does the trick as the planks seem very forgiving.Morning Peter,
