ALLRIGHTY THEN .....
I`ve done some more.... however,as Dave Ward said.......
... The Wheel type assemblies are not only tricky, fiddly and awkward.... but ..... REWARDING!!!....
IMG20220320190635.jpg

I know,i know.... looks a little excessive with the clamps there!!.... HOWEVER,Dave was SPOT ON!!... The bits themselves ain`t too bad... but they do need some gentle persuasion!!
As a bit of an interlude,(and don`t get me wrong.... it`s a very enjoyable build :thumb2:)....... but,i do like to add a bit of the "Human element" into my builds.... this will never be part of a large Dio,but at least ONE figure will give it a bit of a more natural touch,(In my opinion anyway!!:rolling:),......
... I`m not even sure that the little, stunted guy,in this set will work,... but i bought them a while ago to go with these Polish Tankettes
IMG20220320190722.jpg
.... We`ll see... but i`m sure i can work something out?!!..... Mind you,the actual kit has NO angle at having the Hatch open/driver looking out....
... Looks like i`ll be Hacking bits of plastic apart soon!!:thumb2::thumb2:
Thanks for looking in... and i hope i haven`t bored you too much?!!

Great work Andy ,also good to see someone giving themselves a pat on the back stepping back from the bench and telling it who's the daddy now , the best part of the hobby. Mind thoes units in 72nd I give my self a slap on the back and a trip to the drinks cupboard, enjoy that self satisfying warmth I find it makes the next nasty much easier to get over. Dave

Next up,a few probs with the running gear......
IMG20220322174513.jpg
had to drill those out to fit THESE.......
IMG20220322174745.jpg
BUT!!.... They should be hollow like THIS......
IMG20220322185830.jpg
So tghat will be done shortly, however,i also needed to drill out the exhaust as it was solid......
IMG20220322174830.jpg
..... and here it is under the initial cover of Primer........
IMG20220322191248.jpg
.....Don`t get me wrong here,it sounds like i`m moaning about the kit...... "Oh no i`m not"!!... Yes,it needs work in some areas, but hey!!.... You get what you pay for,and to be honest ,these kits are pretty damned cheap to pick up in 1/35th that i reckon they`re excellent value:thumb2: ,
They go together,in general, quite well, the detail isn`t too shabby, and, while never going to be "Top end" type quality,it doesn`t really take a great deal of chopping about/additions to get quite a pleasurable result:hugging-face:,
Also,to be honest, after being spoilt with the build quality of my recent subjects,it`s kind of a sadistic refreshing pleasure to get back to an old style "Traditional" build, with flash, seams and flaws!!!:thumb2::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

Great stuff as I said its that self satisfying warmth and smugness that makes it enjoyable ,dont know about traditional as I've only ever built the cheaper side of the market but enjoy it the same. So on with the paint tri tonal or mono . D

Hi Andy
Looks good and sounds as of you're enjoying this. Nice to get rid of the white with the primer. Agree that a figure or two adds to a build.

Sorry Jim,
Missed you Cross post there!!
Nice to see you Sir,i trust you are well:cool:,
Must agree.... that white was rather glary eh?.... but maybe a figure,(Especially with my painting unskills )... may take the focus away?!!:tears-of-joy:
