Finally managed to finish this. It was a nice fairly easy build that went together well. A little bit fiddly getting the engine in it place but eventually got there. I decided against blueing the exhausts as when I tried my various stains on a bit of scrap chrome it just formed little bubbles on the surface, even after I washed it several times. I had no trouble doing it on a bit of Revell chrome so have to assume its a Tamiya thing. Also for some reason the rear covering of the seat would not lay down snugly at the rear no matter what I did, it is possible it is a little bit warped. You will notice that in a couple of the photo's one rear indicator and the instrument panel is missing, this is because it fell of a wall while I was trying to be clever and get some photo's outside.
