OOOH one of my favourites of yours,Peter.
With some very simple tweaks you've made an otherwise fairly bland model into something quite exceptional.
Superb!
I nearly had a heart-attack after applying matt varnish to the jacket, as it went so flat. Varnish does tend to kill the gestured paintwork and I only do it if absolutely necessary. Oh well.
Lovely work and a real front of cabinet finish too.
What next after such a successful build?
It looks sunny, bright and should be warm.
Definitely a garage day as it didn't really warm up yesterday so I ended up baking cheese scones and cheese & onion rolls!
Best wishes to all the patients and enjoy the better weather without leaving the garden, hopefully no stories of stupidity and madness tomorrow on the news!
Steve - Managed to squeeze him into the cabinet and I'm off to dig out more 1/16 plastic figures. Lovely weather, and it's nice to be able to paint well into the afternoon now that the days are getting longer. Hope you manage to get into the garage.
