Right fire proof suits on
Today was the day, water at the ready .
I put a couple of drops of meths on to some dried sea grass I have spare.

Quite hard to know when to stop, I wanted some timber remaining added some of that spiders web stuff teased out .

Now have to spray the remains with a mat varnish, with out it blowing away .

Thanks for following .

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw flames John...you actually torched the hut? You'll find out sooner that ash isn't easy to keep down. You're a brave man. Burning the right areas isn't easy and controlling flames must be up your alley. Would like to see your handy work from another angle.
The front row guys spot singed eyebrows and smoking hair. :tears-of-joy:

Cheers,

Mrs R came outside and asked where the smell of fire wax coming from. Took one look at the base and went back inside :smiling2:
Yes, they do that where our hobby is concerned. But you have to luv 'em ;)

I thought you might just singe it a bit but that's well and truly burnt to a crisp!

A bit like Mrs T when she tries to toast teacakes... :anguished:

John, those soldiers look like they aren't appreciating and haven't even noticed your nice (fire) work on that shed... it's the destiny of all Creators...;):tongue-out3:

Nice dio, very dynamic.

Andrea
Thanks Andrea, should have had one pointing to the house maybe.

The wisp of smoke is just perfect Dzohn.
Many thanks Paul, didn't want to over do it, nearly added a bit more, glad now I didn't.

Tut-tutting no doubt! :smiling5:
Pete
So used to it by now Pete.:smiling3:

John,
Excellent my old mate.
Thanks Paul.

Nicely done JR, and as Paul said, the smoke is just right. :thumb2:
Thanks buddy.

Wabble thanks, that's what concerns me it the ash, maybe a thin layer of spray at a time might hold it in place. After the building I did some time ago I've managed to check the flames with the water spray at just the right point.

Looks great John, loved the fire pictures.

Andy.
Cheers Andy .

Yes we do Jim, Mrs R is most supportive and often finds things that I can use.

Going to call this done.
Tried to apply a light pressure spray of varnish. Has to hold the gun up so high but still managed to blow some light bits of burnt stuff all over the place .

Thanks for following .

Superb imagination and execution of something that is unique to me, well done and get the assembled committee to admit you into the DB club once again on pain of being treated like Joan of Arc by your modelling alter ego.
