Jakko It is a good kit I have already built the marksman spaag version everything goes together perfectly the only issues I had was cleaning the huge sprue gates and even bigger ejector Mark's.That’ll be interesting. I’ve been wanting to buy their Chieftain Mk. 2 but have managed to resist so far I suppose I’ll be checking in here to see how the kit actually builds up before deciding if it’ll be worth getting.
That doesn’t sound like insurmountable problemsthe only issues I had was cleaning the huge sprue gates and even bigger ejector Mark's.
Where are they, then? I see what look like well-designed feeds. And here's some pictures of those horrible sprue gates
Considering the first picture is the inside of the barrel the 2mm thick gate is connected to I'd say was a bad design.Where are they, then? I see what look like well-designed feeds.
The attachment point is on the flat side, not on the round side of the barrel (like kits used to be made), meaning it will be out of sight when the barrel is assembled rather than leaving a probably visible point you’ll have to smooth over or fill. This is mainly why I think it looks like good design.Considering the first picture is the inside of the barrel the 2mm thick gate is connected to I'd say was a bad design.
The more the merrier steveWill pull up a pew if I may Colin. Tracks looking good.
