made new handrails and steps as kit ones were oversize tracks were a bit rubbish so used o o gauge track split down the middle and made wider to get bogies to fit but all in all a nice kit

also used maskol for first time and it came out o k .

You have done a cracking job there Barry, very nice scratch making for the rails etc and a nice quality build and finish.

Always a pleasure to see you build these railway cannons. This one is different and I really like it.

Great camouflage as well. I'm looking forward to the next one already!

A very good result, and very striking. I can see it on a shelf in a prominent position in a main room of the house. I have succeeded in getting two Spitfires, 1/72 and one 1/48, in the dining room. My 1/16 Rolls will need a new shelf. Negotiations are still at a low level.

Another Masterpiece Barry! Good Gosh, were ever do you find the time, I'm retired and my builds of late are no where near as extensive or as complicated as yours are, and in 1/72 scale to boot! Bravo to you sir! ..... Jim :smiling3:

i think you may be pushing your luck with a 1 72 one 1 48 and now a 1 16 mine only allows one 172 farrari in living room but i have got a spare bedroom ful of model cabinets also a model room with two cabinets in so i dont try to have any more in living room:D

That's pretty amazing Barry, lots of detail and your paintwork/weathering is really well done. The figures look good too (very natural poses), do they come with the kit? Who makes the kit, BTW?

Barry that looks blooming awesome!!! the detail is fantastic on such a scale too.

I like the camo and you have pulled this off brilliantly.

The extra dio gives it purpose and authenticity too.

Very well done

Regards

Robert
