Thank you gentlemen. The original goal back in the 60s was to represent the US & German units, at a platoon level, involved in the actions at Dornot & Arnaville during Sept., 44 where a favorite uncle was decorated. Once I visited the site it became clear I wouldn't be able to diorama the battle of "little Omaha" at Dornot. Things obviously got out of hand once I retired as the subjects grew to include modern US & German BW. I've never counted the individual models, but there are hundreds as they grew to company level at times.
