Although I’m getting next to no bench time at the moment, count me in for this one please.

Yaaayyy!! Great stuff!!

Just gotta persuade/threaten/blackmail PJ into joining and we got our ten:

Me
Ian (Papa 695)
Mike (Valeron)
Steve (Brody)
John (Wotan)
Steve (Airborne01)
Geoff (Geoffers)
PJ
Rick (Mini me)
Jack (Jack L)

Can I just double check that everyone is happy with the conditions?

Target build:

Any type of vehicle/'plane/ship/personnel involved with emergency calls (Fire, Ambulance, Police) either civilian or military.
Any scale.
Any manufacturer.
Add-ons and aftermarket is allowed but no dios except maybe a simple base.

Start Jan 1 2023 - Finish March 31 2023.

If anyone wants to change anything, post a thread about it and we can talk through it. If I don't hear otherwise, I'll ask Ian to start a build thread next Monday.

I may join in as I do have a suitable candidate, but it will depend on the status of my fusiliers...(oo er missus!) and my employment situation.
But it looks like you don't need me to make up the numbers anyway, now :smiling4:

Are Search and Rescue aircraft allowed Dave?

Geoff.

I don't see why not Geoff. They do get called out for emergencies, so I have no immediate objection. What you got in mind?

Cheers Dave, I was looking at the re-realesed Italeri 1/72 Fokker F.27. It’s used for S&R around the Canary Islands by the Spanish AF.

I thought it looked quite interesting however I’m not 100% sure yet

Geoff.

Um, I'm thinking of joining this. It would be my first GB. There doesn't seem to be anything about the materials used in construction. I'm thinking of making a paper ambulance - any issues with that?

I'd have no problems with you entering that for the GB as long as it has the SAR markings Geoff.

Paper? Would that be from one of those paper kits or scratch built like Ron's landing craft? Only asking out of interest Paul. Either way, if it's an ambulance, it's fine.

Looks an impressive bunch of builders!

Ian: Since we have the required numbers, could I ask you to set it up please? Rules as follows:

Any type of vehicle/'plane/ship/personnel involved with emergency calls (Fire, Ambulance, Police) either civilian or military.
Any scale.
Any manufacturer.
Add-ons and aftermarket is allowed but no dios except maybe a simple base.

Start Jan 1 2023 - Finish March 31 2023.

Usual box and sprue shots (If you have a scratch build in mind, just an outline of your build will be OK) please and a separate build thread for each individual giving just your name, the scale and kit (where applicable).

Paper kit. No scratchbuilding here - way beyond my capabilities, I'm afraid.
