Not as simple as the title suggests, I have a plan which is never a good idea for me and it involves cutting through a side panel of a truck body that already has decals firmly fixed on it. So, has anyone done this, is it a stupid idea, or should I just go and lie down in a darkened room until the idea goes away. I have the panel and the decals but cutting the panel first and then trying to cut a rather large decal to fit the parts properly would, I think, be an almost impossible task, for me at least. The reason for this is because I want to hinge part of the panel to enable it to be shown open.

Andy.

Could you not cut out the panel in the position you wanted then, place an insert into said 'hole'. Place the decal on the whole things and then 'cut' the gap between the insert and the body. Thus cutting the decal as well?
