With that in mind, this weekend I have mostly been weathering.
I started with a thin raw umber oil wash on the Zim. I didn't want it to look too dark, but still show some detail. After that I pin washed the rest of the detail with a dark brown enamel.
Once dried I gloss coated again then applied some mild rust and dirt streaking and some silver dry brushing. I think I'm going to leave it at that, other than adding some dust with pigments when the tools and cables are installed, which I hope to do tonight.
Edited to add: I also still have to do some rusting on the exhausts.
