Great story and diorama Ron. All round very nicely done, the Tiger looks superb.

What can I write?

I'm so pleased you all like my mini dio. and my little story to go with it. Sadly, such a thing would be happening all day, every day.......

Lady and chaps, the content of your posts is very humbling and I'm more than a little chuffed at the positive response.

However, I've spotted something wot is not right....

The tank is the first one I ever built, painted and weathered. I then posted it here in my first ever dio. I knew nothing about the anatomy of a Tiger tank, and presumed the front corners were thick armour. Looking at it today I spotted my error, because these front 'skirts' are quite thin metal and they looked too thick, so I've just had a trip to my bench.....

I've hacked the offending thing off and weathered the exposed track some more. I've also bent the side skirt up a bit too.

Me happier bunny now!

Don't worry Monica, after the war she married a big, horny ski instructor. Had two more children and lived to be 95!

Love the story, it's as though you have made the diorama come alive. Very well detailed too, in such a small area. Well done!

I hesitate to say that this is your best work yet since all of your work is superb Ron, but it's got to be very near the top of the list, the number of stars you have received for this one only goes to confirm my view. I can feel the Siberian chill. Derek
