Here is my finished 'entry' for this Cosford fun build.
H.M.S King George V is slowly rounding The North Cape on her way to Murmansk to re-fuel after Russian Convoy duties in the North Sea.
Modelled on a piece of tile, with polyfilla ice. I ran a small bead of clear silicone around the hull of the ship and squashed it onto the base, and where the stuff splurged out I worked it with a small nail into the small waves.
I've had to wait for a suitable sky, then I simply tilted the base upwards....and snapped away!
A Luftwaffe view....
The sun went behind the clouds for a short time, so I pointed the camera directly at it and here is the result - No trickery, just a surprisingly nice sillywet!
......and to finish!
I hope you approved of the finished model. It was fun building in such a small scale.
Thanks for looking,
Ron
