Some of you may have seen the wrestle I had with the 1/48 version of this aircraft but I'm pleased to say that the 1/72 was a very different, and decidedly more enjoyable, experience.

I'm still not fully happy with my weathering efforts, it's something I need to work on to get more realistic results, but despite that I'm very happy with the overall look.

Thanks to everyone who followed the build and especially those that commented or reacted.

I really like that Andy. Great paint job and a lot of masking on that canopy.

Yep, it's a cracking build that Andy
What a lovely looking plane eh?..... As Jim said, the canopy has come out great, I'm not sure what part of the weathering you're not happy with... I can't see anything amiss :thumb2:.

Thanks so much gents.

A few, including Tim, urged me not to judge Eduard on the 1/48 kit and you were bang right. The 1/72 was a joy to build by comparison and I'm sure I'll be building more of their kits. After checking the reviews first! :tears-of-joy:

Their zero is one of the best kits I’ve ever made if that helps Andy….

Very accomplished build, most impressive

If you build a 1/144 Bf110 you could mount them on the wall like the ducks on Hilda Ogdens 'muriel'! Ha!

Miko (maybe wide of the mark with this cultural reference?)
