Mr modelling moth decided to drop in and offer some help deciding where part N-6 should go :smiling5:

Hi Steve,

Yes it has so far gone together very well. The tracks are link and length so should be straightforward.....famous last words :smiling5:

Hi Si
I have heard of Flyhawk but didn't realise what they did. As Steve says it looks a nice kit. The moth is beautiful. Hope you haven't jinxed it with your 'straightforward' tracks.

Hi Jim...well I thought I had the tracks sorted but Somehow a gap appeared:thinking:....out with the mud then:smiling5:.

Well the rest of the build went well....lots of lovely detail for 1 72:thumb2:
Out came the paint...then some weathering steps. Need a Matt coat and some dust, but I’ll do that once it’s on it’s base.

I’ll get started on a base soon. Thanks for looking.

Hi Si
That is really nice. For 1/72 the detail is very good. Great paint job.

Jim, Peter.....thanks for looking in, glad you like how it’s coming along :thumb2:

Been knocking together a little base for it over the course of the day. No where near finished yet....I’ll tweak and poke at it over the week.

Hi Si,

looking good - did yours come with the resin commander figure?

Since they had to come from the east I ordered the Luchs, an Abrams and an M1114 to minimise postage - they all look like cracking kits

Have you seen Revell have now released a Luchs as well - doubt it will be as detailed though

Morning Mr T,

Yes it came with resin figure all neatly packed in its own box. I’ll put him aside for another day.

All the flyhawk stuff looks good, wouldn’t mind adding a few more to the stash.
Will probably pick up the new Revell luchs too....if only to see how it builds.

Cheers
Si

Tim....This has got to be one of the nicest 1:72 kits I’ve built, although Zvezda’s T90 in 1:72 was pretty damn good!

Paul....I’d still count myself as a novice when it comes to making bases, so I’m happy if your happy:thumb2:

Thank you both for your positive feedback
Cheers

Hi Si
That is a result to be proud of. The kit is a credit to Flyhawk and you have made the most of it. The base sets it off perfectly.

Hi Jim...Flyhawk have done a great job in my opinion, just the right amount of PE. my only grumble was no metal barrel but easily sorted. The base was made with that blue high density foam as was the wall...glad you like it:smiling4:
Hi Mick....thanks for the thumbs up:smiling4:
