I wasn’t sure, but I was just about to do a little research to figure out if that was indeed the case — the sprues look Japanese, mainly by the circular bit in the middle, that Tamiya also uses a lot, but Hobby Boss is Chinese. (Scalemates confirms the suspicion, by the way.)Tristar moulds have been taken over by Hobbyboss
Weird … you’d expect them to take a grinder to the moulds and just correct that real quick. For those interested, the sprues are marked Tristar and not Hobby Boss
The MG 13 was fed from 75-round drum magazinesI have learnt a lot from the diagrams. I thought the boxes by the gear box were ammo cases but are in fact battery boxes.
Are you talking about the Drehübertrager? That’s what in English you’d probably call a slip ring — it serves to create an electrical conduit between rotating parts, such as between the hull and turret of a vehicle.Apparently our fuel cap is in fact a rotary transmitter?? So I looked it up and it seems the Rotary Transmitter is used for signal transmission of transducers on a rotating part like the engine shaft, to a stationary system like a radio.
