Oh, I intend to Scott.  Been watching the videos and I have a pack, but in white as it is cheaper in Hobbycraft, to have a play. The big A1 sheets are the cheapest way to go but they tend to get a bit damaged in the shop and require a lot of accurate cutting.  Not easy with such a big sheet and nowhere to do it  > . Still, unlike you, I will be starting with a small project to see how easy it can be brought to life.

graham you'd be amazed, I used sizes of windows and doorways from a miniart kit and then tried to create a 2 story building from the town of quintera on the Israeli Syrian border. Windows can be any size you want really, but I used a measurement of 6cm tall by3cm wide for the doors and for wall thicknesses doubled the card to 10mm which is about right for 1/35, hope this is useful and good luck, can't wait to see the pics.

One of the things I like about this method is the thin walls.  Double thickness, as you say, is about right.  MiniArt doors and windows are usually over scale but, again, often look right in context.

the thin wall of the material is a bonus in that you can layer it with a different material.  A thin insulation foam can be used on the outside if you fancy scribing or stamping brick/stone into it.  If you really feel ambitious, mini bricks can be built up like the real thing.  You guys who got me into dioramas have a lot to answer for >

Wow Scott for a first timer this is looking awesome, great job on the buildings,

If I could make a small suggestion regarding the detail on the rebars which is a great idea using those paperclips,

Mostly the rebar for houses is made of a mesh of steel wires, if you know what i mean, jet this is no kritik just some advice that will bring more detail too your building.

put in a picture of what i mean.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebar#/media/File:Metal_rebar_reclamation_for_recycling_at_building_demolition_site_-_02.jpg picture is from wikipedia

Keep up this great build will be following this closely
