Mike,

That looks great the paint has really highlighted the details you have added. Neat idea with the chains

Cheers Scottie,
It saves the chains sticking to the primer, and you cannot explain it away as a bird walked up the side...

Update,
Just a quick update, made up the 'cable tensioners' that fit on the cable between the jib and the vehicle anchoring point.

I also painted up the fire extinguishers...

The decals came from AA's set, just need a bit of weathering once attached to the vehicle.
Tomorrow is paint day, so it will be an early breakfast followed by some push ups, 26 mile marathon, and then when I wake up and get out of bed - some finger flexing just to exercise the finger, cannot overdo things.
Cheers,
Mike.

Update,
Top coat on and clear coated with satin varnish. Will assemble all the doors etc later today and then tomorrow will get on with the weathering.
Cheers, Mike.

The wife always says I have no patience...
We have great patience for modelling but management judges us on household chores, DIY, Christmas shopping and other domestic doings!! They don't count :smiling:
As for the halftrack - looks even better, if that's possible, with it's coat of paint. Love the fire extinquishers.

I was just about to ask if you had painted the details on the extinguishers then I saw your comment about the decals:smiling3:

Base coat has come out well. It certainly brings everything together. Terrific work as always Mike

John R,
Now for the sensible reply, it is Lifecolor FS34094 (UA303) and a mix of another colour which I cannot remember, but will go back to where I painted the chassis and it is a 50/50 mix and about 1/3 thinners, then shake like you mean it, but make sure the top is on tight... Just looked it up on the bridgelayer build, the other colour is UA 718 Wood Cold light shade.
Cheers, Mike.

Further update,
Started to add the details, doors etc, but have decided not to have the gas bottles in the rack.
