Time for a new wooden ship build and it  is a plank on frame kit but this will be slightly easier as the size is the same as the airfix victory.

To start with the first three frames have been rounded off ready for planking and also the last frame.

It's now time to start the planking

I beleive this is a generic frigate of the time.  There was never an HMS President at this time in the RN.  The Victory was first-rate ship of the line, where as frigates were 2nd to 6th rate ship of the line, depending on how many guns it had.  Here is a link to how ships were rated

I had almost forgotten about this one but I have started on the planking and its tricky bearing in mind that this ship is smaller than airfix's HMS victory. 20170418_184320.jpg 20170418_184309.jpg
