Is that the Airfix one?

I like that, great first Dio, the imagination is there, the more you practise the better your skills will get. Thumbs up from me.

Only immediate thing i'd suggest is muddy up the underside of the car and wheelarch a bit with pigments or just plain old earth.

nice job for a first shot.

bit more weathering on the underside and it'd look perfect.

I love it, brings back some great memories, my sister had a White 1:3 that I used to borrow when my HB Viva was poorly (normally blown engines)...

finished this one off and started the mini :D

mini was all going well till ,gave it a full proper spray job primed then blue base coat, then sprayed it purple pearl and finished it in clear coat ,so decided to harden the last coat for a few mins in the oven ,couple minutes too long melted it LOL

so this was born, the plan before i melted it was a garage scene ,but i quite like this as it is

still got a bit of work and some airbrushing to do on this ,can anyone recomend me a decent glue for this kinda stuff ,kinda struggling with some of the bonding

Very nice Alex, That extra weathering on the escort made a big difference :smiling3: I love my mini's but i like the fact you've gone for a different way to build it as you see quite a few built in one piece :P

Can't wait to see more of you work mate!

If you mean the base, then i can recommend Wood glue.

You can dilute it with water to the thickness you need.

For the kits, you could use Plastic Weld.

I use Revell Contacta.in a bottle with the metal tube applicator.

Hope that helps.

Malc.

Superb work. You've already mastered the most valuable skill in a modelers inventory - Imagination!

Very nice work on both cars there, and as noted above the Escort looks 10 x better with the weathered undergarments!

Nicely done!
