i've just found out that it's a kavan aluoette , i found some pics on another model forum , attached pic from the bottom , parts needed : the fan , belt , drive pulley, and the white toothed cogg at the back .

You might have a job finding spares for that now, Shame as the Kavan Heli's were always nice machines too. Yes I can see it would be nice to get that one restored but I personally wouldn't want to fly it, purely for the reason it is a classic old Heli and I would be afraid of pranging it.

Good Luck with the hunt for spares, If I can come up with anything I will post it here for you.

These classic helicopter models are starting to well and truly creep into the collectors market,a Micromould Lark helicopter realised £300 at a London auction room a few years back,Mark is right.

You could try Midland Helicopters,if they dont have anything then I doubt whether any other outlet does,try advertising for a broken heli,you never know your luck ?
