Hi Folks - thanks for all the kind comments.

Kit used - Canon 1D Mkiv with 300mm F4 and 100-400 lenses. The paradox was that the quality improved a lot when I turned the shake reduction/image stabilisation OFF.

The Chinook display was remarkable even to an old hack like me. The field was covered with dropped jaws. :eek:

Ah that explains the quality of the images Roger , 16.1 megapixels at full frame very nice. I've only got a Nikon D5100 same megapixels but a ASP size sensor.
